The service interval recommended by Lexus for the GX in Australia is 10,000 Km (6,250 miles). Just curious what’s recommended in the US?

We get complimentary service at 5k and 10k miles. I haven’t checked beyond that.

Yes, in US 5,000 miles/6 months service (no oil/filter change), and 10,000 miles/12 months, service (that includes oil/filter change). Personally, I'm going to have the oil/filter changed at 5k/6month intervals (a holdover perhaps from my youth and watching about 50 YouTube videos ).

What would be the 5k service other than rotate tires (which I can get done elsewhere much cheaper than at Lexus)?

Also any real reason to keep with Lexus for the 10k services? I do like that they take a thorough look to head things off early.

5k service value is in Lexus trained technicians looking your vehicle over...you can look at the manual and see what all they do.
And 10,000 mile service, once a year, performed by Lexus for your wonderful SUV?....Anytime!
Worth it, instead of having some guy who works on Fords, Chevys, VW and everything else....not worthwhile for the peace of mind alone.
