Sunroof switch defective

Has anyone experienced a defective sunroof switch? The "open" button has no tactile response when pressed (in other words, the "spring" behind the button is broken). The "close" button works normally. The right-hand side sunroof tilt function buttons both operate normally. So, in short, I am unable to open the sunroof.

take it to the dealer and it should be covered under warranty

Doesn't the GX have a manual / mechanical override for the Sun / Moon Roof.
