Wireless phone charging

What are the best solutions to get wireless phone charging in non-plus Overtrail?

I’d just buy a third party one that plugs into the cigarette lighter.

The OEM one isn’t amazing. Barely worked on my 15 pro max iPhone. Too big in the slot, had to take my oe case off to get it to turn on.

You arent missing much. Plug wireless chargers tend to overheat with wireless CarPlay, if they even keep up with the current draw.

I have been using Pro-Clip mounts and wireless chargers in work and personal vehicles for years. With the 550 being a new vehicle I'm sure it will be a bit before they will show up on their website.

Anyone find any options here that don’t have the crazy long gooseneck? I’m just looking for something super clean like this but plug into the lighter

Here's what I did - stuck the charging puck in that weird blank space with double-sided tape. I mounted it so that my iphone snaps into the magnet while the base of the iphone is resting on the little lip of the sliding cup holder cover. The 12-volt charge door still opens.

There is a nice storage tray there - I put my wallet and the key fob there.

This looks like a decent solution. How did you hide that cable, looks like it is 5' on the Amazon description.

I just tucked the cable along the edge between the carpeted passenger side tunnel and the under-part of the dash. I guess I could pull the dash panels out a bit and really get it all hidden back there but I'm not too worried about it. It's out of sight, out of mind.
