Same here with my Overtrail, now at 6,300 miles. Front brake replacement took care of the infamous morning squeal. Great truck so far.

Thanks! That is what Lexus Parts said they checked but, as noted, they didn’t strike me as 100% sure…..

The TSB front brake repair on my Overtrail seems to have taken care of it. Should note my wife’s Land Cruiser First Edition has same issue and so far Toyota has yet to admit there is a problem. Does make me wonder if the brakes are identical on both vehicles.

Not doubting you but Lexus dealer/parts advised me at 5,000 mile service last week that FE rock sliders do not fit Overtrail. It was a question of first impression for them so not sure if they are correct…. Has anyone done that swap successfully?

At New Country Lexus, Latham for 5K service and they are replacing front brake rotors and pads as I type this. 🤞

My wife has a Land Cruiser FE with rock rails. I have an Overtrail with running boards. Are they swappable?

Never made it to Australia…yet. My mother travelled there after my father died and so many people took her under their wings and she loved it. A handful of Aussies later came to Vermont to visit her and I took them sailing on Lake Champlain. Have to get there soon!

I love my OT (better than my wife’s LC First Edition). The only “option” I miss is the driver memory seat. On the other hand, it gives me an excuse to tell her to use her own truck…..

I went cheap ($37) from Amazon for back seat and my Chocolate Lab and my wife liked it enough to get the same for her Land Cruiser. Amazon.com

Had them in my Macan (that I traded on my Overtrail) and they were Chocolate Lab proof. Going to order seat back/cargo area today, wish I could just get seat back as the rubber mat is great by itself.

Had local Toyota dealer change oil yesterday at 2,000 miles. Figured what the hell….

My Overtrail at 2,000 miles is getting just over 20MPG, very little stop and go traffic but a mix of Intestate and back roads.

Just bought the same Michelin Blizzak DM V2’s for both my Overtrail and my wife’s LC FE. A lot of $ for rubber but we do a lot of dicey winter driving here in Vermont and helping to avoid even a minor fender bender is worth it.

I have one new nitpick, my wife has driven my Overtrail only twice yet she twice has popped the hood instead of the gas hatch when trying to fill the tank. Have to admit those buttons are hard to distinguish. Best solution is to relegate her to her LC First Edition and banish her from my truck...

My dealership advised today that: “Lexus is aware of the brake squeal problem and will be shipping parts to correct it.” No due date provided but since it is only when I back down the driveway in the morning I can wait.

I had a Land Rover Discovery many years ago. Spent more time in the shop than on the road. I think the Defender 110 is a nice truck, like the air suspension option. But not willing to find out how is is as to reliability…., My Overtrail, while still very early in ownership, is really nice!
