I have had a winch on a few trucks and my experience is similar, its the omg help thing, that almost never gets used. Probably makes more sense to get one that goes into a trailer hitch and throw it in the back when you are off road. Do any of these offer a trailer hitch on the front bumper?
I had the same looking front bumper on my old Land Cruiser. Deer and moose help. I didn’t have the side bar part. Pretty excited to see if it will work in the Lexus.
I don’t really like the look of the Victory and no one seems to know anything about NYtop, so I am waiting. Dissent off-road is supposed to be going out soon. Probably more soon.
Think it sounds really good. Coming from a jeep with a McIntosh system and a super duty with the high end B&O system. Doesn’t get as loud as the B&O but sounds better. I think sound is so subjective and a few people complain and it becomes a thing. But everyone’s taste is different
I didn't have an issue, put on bigger tires and noticed a vibration similar to what others have said. Got the tires ballanced and it went away. That doesn't mean it isn't an issue, just that it isn't an issue with mine or for me. But my brakes do squeal so I am getting that fixed, hopefully...
Just remember to take this all with a grain of salt. Maybe the brakes fix it, maybe they don't, maybe a few vehicles are messed up, maybe a few people are sensitive. Maybe you need to get your tires road force ballanced. Maybe there is a problem on them all. I have seen one person who maybe...
Let us know your thoughts once it comes in. While I would love to get set up, I am still Leary about spending a bunch on a safety product from unknown vendors.
Check tire pressure and tire balance first. Also one poster had breaks done because of squealing in reverse and said that corrected issue. No one else has tied the two together yet but Lexus just came out with the break fix a week or two ago, and I am not sure if the parts are readily...
Toyota says change it at 10k. Anecdotal at best advice on why to do it more frequently. Lots of studies that show frequent oil changes are a complete waste of time and money not to mention creating a disposal issue. Plus there isn’t one reason I can think of why a dealer would tell a customer...
It depends on what you want. Rock crawling is different than going over a washout and a big rock on a logging road. Serious off roaders need the travel. For what I do, driving down miles of dirt roads, with occasional obstacles probably the additional ground clearance is more important. But I...
Overtrails are different than the other models, so the assumption is one of the components specific to the overtrail is causing the issue. We are off on the brakes again, but it could still be something with the overtrail suspension that is causing it.
