This is a known problem and is supposed to be fixed with a future software update. The problem is the map gets stuck in day or night mode so the strip at the top is the right color but the map itself isn’t.

I just have my system set...
I did try tonight on my way home, and it appears that if you use standard cruise mode, it leaves the gauges alone. If you use adaptive cruise mode, then it changes to the stark type 3 gauge style.
Yep, that’s how the system functions. I’m not sure of any way to change it, though I haven’t tried.
It makes sense, though… when cruise is on, the car is controlling things. So tach is irrelevant, as is anything other than the set and current speed. It’ll still show the customized info elements...
It’s not known when the update will be available, but their updates are available either OTA or can be performed manually once released.
I just keep my system in permanent dark mode.
If you’re referring to the stock nav map still being white rather than switching to dark mode, there’s a TSB for that stating a software update is coming.

Being able to use the app to lock/unlock/start your car isn’t digital key (those are just remote functions). Digital key is the ability to use your phone as a key. No fob or card required. You can walk up to the car, unlock it, start it, and go just like you had your fob on you.
The SmartAccess card key comes with the digital key option. You won’t have it if your car doesn’t have this option.
The digital key option also gives you the ability to use your phone as a key via the Lexus app.
OT already has the headlamp washers and windshield wiper de-icer (and the heated steering wheel the cold weather package adds to the Premium - all others have it standard). Not sure about the fast-response interior heater.
Both of those are right in the car’s settings.
Settings > vehicle customize > door control.
You can turn on two press unlock (or turn it off since that’s what you want), and you can choose under “smart access doors” whether you want all doors to unlock or driver door only to unlock when you...
That’s hilarious. I had mine set to always since having it as “while using app” had a persistent location live activity displaying on my iPhone and it was super annoying, changing to always removes that.
Oddly enough, I also have the Android version of the app set to always and search works...
I got the charging mat cover, cupholder insert, and also grabbed their center console organizer as well. These are great quality and look good! Thanks for the recommendation!
I got my GX last week and was working on setting this up on my iPhone. As noted already, searching for addresses in the iOS app does absolutely nothing. If you try to search for a business, you’ll likely have luck. Unfortunately, that doesn’t work for home or many other addresses. I tried this...
Yep. Pretty much the only time you’d press it is to get back into normal drive modes if you had turned on ECT 2nd (to start out in second gear) or tow/haul mode.
Finally got my hands on the GX I wanted! Premium+ in Incognito with a black interior.
Picked it up the other day, I only had enough time after to snap a picture at the top of a parking garage and then head in to work. It was a rough day at work not getting to play around with the new ride.
The knob will just cycle through drive modes on regular GX trims like yours (Premium, Luxury). On the Overtrails, there is additionally an MTS and DAC/crawl button there. For them, pressing MTS will then use the knob to cycle through MTS modes. Same with DAC/crawl.
So in your case, pressing...
