Thats what I don’t get. I use the Lexus app to lock/unlock/start my GX OT. I don’t have the SmartAccess Card tho

Being able to use the app to lock/unlock/start your car isn’t digital key (those are just remote functions). Digital key is the ability to use your phone as a key. No fob or card required. You can walk up to the car, unlock it, start it, and go just like you had your fob on you.

So the only difference is you can drive without the fob?

This is the wallet key. I have an OT+. IDK if it comes with all GXs, those with digital key feature, or what?

I just tested the card I got on my OT+ after reading your comment. The card was able to lock and unlock the doors. Any chance the battery in your card died? r maybe it just wasn't programmed, although that would seem pretty weird.

Dealer handed me the card when I took delivery and told me to put it in my wallet. Been using it ever since, don't have to remove from wallet to enter / exit the vehicle, and never carry a fob.

Oddly enough my GX never came with the card. Maybe a Canada thing.

Was never listed on the option sheet either; though I do have the app.

That's correct. The card doesn't have buttons to do things from a distance.

You can pretty easily do that from your app. Just have a favorite for the app and it will only take you a few secs.

My L+ came with Traffic Jam Assist. I’ve actually engaged it twice since May. I’ve tried to use it many times thinking I’ve met all the criteria, but it’s clearly smarter than I am…

Added the blackout “LEXUS GX550” and had my detailer ceramic coat with SB3. As for piano black…it’s going to be an OCD persons nightmare to maintain…but do like the look…

I like the blackout kit as well. Turns the "Lexus" on the back into stealth mode. It's hard to believe that there are only 10 chrome letters/numbers to cover! My 4Runner had a couple dozen or something...

I do and I looked into it a little. You have to have pretty much all of the safety features active and it only works up to a certain mph. In my opinion it didn't seem worth it. To me definitely not worth the $600 option

I actually like the traffic jam assist. Use it all the time. Set to dynamic cruise control and you can drive hands free in most situations under 25mph.. takes the highway traffic jam stress down a few notches .. just have to get used to it and as soon as traffic clears, and you think you are going to exceed 25mph, put one hand on the wheel before it beeps ..

This week I received our Covercraft sun screen for the GX/LC250. Good fit and stays in place but the small vertical windscreen makes it a little more difficult to put it up and remove compared to other vehicles ….
