Toyota indicated that the problem was caused by a faulty block cleaning process which they corrected. Both the Tundra and LX600 engines were made in the Huntsville AL plant. I believe the GX550 engines are built in Japan. I'm being optimistic that proper cause was identified and corrected...
I had seen one of the magazines indicating very minor changes to 2025. One change was that all models will get power tilt steering wheels and memory seats. They indicated a $500.00 increase on the Premium model but I don't know if that was speculation or info from Lexus. No mention of Hybrid or...
I agree with all above. If it's not for you sell it. I suspect many GX owners number one priority is reliability. It is for me. I have owned 4Runners for the past 20 years and with the exception of preventive maintenance it is very rare to have any problems. I have had terrible experiences with...
Looking at your above post I see you have 10213 miles on your vehicle. Lexus scheduled maintenance indicates oil and filter change every 10000 miles or 12 months whatever comes first. They may have forgotten to reset your oil maintenance reminder.
I purchased my premium plus at Pohanka in Chantilly VA near Dulles AP. They were taking a $1000 fully refundable deposit prior to the vehicle release in the beginning of the year. They were great to work with and will get you the vehicle you want.
I considered waiting for the 2025 model based off some of the problems discussed on this forum. Decided to go for it and felt there would always be another reason to hold off. In Sept picked up a caviar premium plus. Really enjoying the vehicle and glad I decided to pick up the 2024.
I'm not very familiar with cap-less systems but is there any thoughts that a system with a cap provides better protection keeping contaminants out of the fuel system since you can wipe the cap off prior to opening it ? Lexus designed this vehicle to spend time in the dirt.
Here are photos of it rolled up behind third row. I will probably get two straps to keep it rolled in place and would only roll it tight enough (8" diameter?) to fit in the area available.
Weathertech Mat delivered today. Perfect fit, completely satisfied with Mat. Agree I like the more aggressive look of the above pictured Lexus mat but totally fine with this. I have a Premium +. It's delivered rolled up (8" dia.) so not an issue to roll up if third row is needed...
Attached are photos of the Cargo Mat that comes with the
All-Weather Floor Liners with Cargo Mat Port installed option $390.00
Premium + model. Don't know what comes with the OT
I ordered a Weathertech cargo mat yesterday. It appears in the photo that it may have one seam which would allow it to be folded and placed between the third row and the back door. Once I get it I will confirm fit and take photo's.
I guess the thought was that there would be no where to store the full sized mat when you do put up the third row. That did not seem to be a concern with the Tonneau cover which has no where to go when the third row is up. Hopefully and after market mat will be available soon.
I had ordered what I hoped was a full size cargo mat. The small mat you are describing is the one that comes with the port installed all weather floor/cargo mat package. I found what I believed to be the proper part # for the full sized mat PT9086024720. I called Lexus and the parts tech...
Picked up our Premium + Caviar today. Ordered it the first week in January. Took it for a more significant test drive then I would normally consider based off all the input from other members. Thank you. Had seriously considered holding off on the purchase due to the reported issues...
I do believe those who have reported this vibration do have vibrations and not a rough ride. Is there any possibility that this is a malfunction of the Adaptive Variable Suspension? It seams like most vehicles experiencing these issues have the AVS system. How does this system receive its input...
