I have them in both our GX550 and LX600. Had them in my previous Land Cruiser too. They’ve all been great and protect very well.
I had one of the first GX550 Canvasback cargo liner deliveries. It was slightly off in one of the dimensions; they said they had made an adjustment after making my...
Moly is often used as a lubricant between metal-to-metal surfaces and TGMO has a high molybdenum content.
Edited to add from Google:
Molybdenum disulfide (MoS2): Also known as Moly, this solid lubricant can withstand high temperatures and pressures. It works with zinc (ZDPP) to improve...
I’m going to need a lot of help. I’m in my 30s and still don’t know how to leverage 90% if the features. Need to figure out what I don’t know first.
One annoying thing is it seems that the car auto brakes when I let off the gas. At first I thought it was down shifting, but then noticed the...
I paid $550 for the wheels and tires, but that was a great deal. I saw several sets on Facebook Marketplace that were asking ~$1200. I’ve read that $800-1000 is a common price for someone selling theirs off a new Tundra.
Edited:
I also paid a shop $140 to swap the TPMS, balance, and install...
Posted in another thread, but I swapped to The wheels that come on the Platinum Tundra: 265/60R20. Comes out to the same diameter as OT, 32.5”. I just couldn’t handle the Prem+ wheels, lasted 3 days.
I had installed a WD rack on my LC200 specifically so I didn’t have to change rails. It had brackets that slid into the channels. Not familiar with the OT rails, but maybe would work on those; don’t think it would work on my Prem+ rails.
I think the calipers have more clearance than I thought. I am measuring ~.25”/6mm.
Using willtheyfit.com, this is the comparison of stock to the tundra wheels.
This helps demonstrate that the poke is just about the same, but it sits further inboard.
I come up with ~3/4” or 20mm clearance...

Fitment -

Going from +50 offset to +60 makes things tighter on the front. Any wider tires and you need to start looking at clearance to the upper control arm. Also, the clearance between the back face of the wheel is damn close to the brake caliper. It...
Not that I’ve seen. Only luck is if the dealer leaves allocated inventory on Lexus.com or on the dealer’s site. In my case, my dealer removes from Lexus.com and only shows on their own site. Just in the last week, they added the estimated delivery dates.
My car arrived at the dealer today. I...
wow! Still waiting on a February build?!?!?
I’d be pretty annoyed. My datapoints for a post-QC hold build:
Built: 5/28
Vessel Depart: 6/7
Vessel Arrive: 6/24
Processing: 7/2
Rail Depart: 7/5
It is the same engine. Except GX/LX are built in Japan and Tundra/Sequoia built in US. I have slight concern about my wife’s 2/2024 built LX600; I have zero concern about my 5/2025 Built GX550. They’ve known of this issue and corrected procedures long ago. I trust that these engines underwent...
Ah. Yes, before it is built there is a temporary VIN. The dealers get their allocations 1-2 weeks before the build date. Once built, the VIN is static. Congrats on it arriving!
I just picked up a set today with 265/60s on and got a killer deal. I’m hoping the dark gray will look good on Nebula. Will post pictures when it comes in later this month.
I’m envious of these good dealers. Will be done with my local after this transaction. They’ve been polite, but:
-$2,050 in mandatory tint and ceramic (more expensive and lower quality than outside the dealer).
-bought an LX in May. They had exactly the one I wanted but wouldn’t budge a penny...
