DIY Westcott Collars in driveway w/ floor Jack and stands. (Stock wheels on 33” Goodyear Wrangler ATs)

Got my Westcott designs preload collars a couple of months ago and finally put them on today. They don’t have an install video through Westcott (or anyone else) but I used the land cruiser one Wescott has as back up.
I did mine with a floor jack and jack stands in my driveway.
If anyone is doing the same and has any questions I’m happy to help. It is almost the same as Landcruiser except the sway bar prevents you from sliding the coil over off at the bottom mount. I battled with this for a while but got it done.
I decided to stick with the Premium+ stock 20” wheels but will end up painting all black.
Went with Goodyear Wrangler ATs 275/60r 20 (33” height 10.8 width 20” wheel) I think they look great and they are quiet at any speed. (Didn’t have to remove anything and zero rubbing)

How could you possibly hear the tires with the roof rack on there!?! But, it looks great. I wish I had the balls and skill to do that myself......

Hahaha…Make sure the sunroof is closed and covered. Yeah I’ll be ditching the rack that’s for sure, the thing screams at highway speed! Thanks buddy! it took longer than expected, but was worth it. The ride is same as stock which I love!

Looks great!! I could never take on a project like that. I agree with the roof rack comments. I took mine off the first week. No noise and better milage.

Looks awesome. Would love to know any tips you learned to make the rear install easier

Looking to buy a jack with stands. What height is your floor jack and stands? The Toyota guys were recommending either 17" or 20".
