Fuse for High Beams?

I'm installing a Trigger 4 Plus for some light bars. I would like them only turn on when I've activated my own high beams on the headlights. This will ensure that, when an approaching car tells my Lexus to switch from High Beam to Low Beam, my light bars will automatically turn off.

I need to find the fuse that controls the high beams, so that I can put a "fuse tap" on that fuse. This does not draw power from the fuse, it only tells the Trigger when to turn on or off. (BTW, this also means that the Trigger will turn off when the car is not running, which will eliminate any drain on the battery.)

Does any know where this fuse is? I've attached the diagram on the underside of the fuse box under the hood, but do not know how to translate all of the abbreviations. Or could this fuse be in a different fuse box elsewhere in the car?

Look for designation as follows:

(H-LP LH-HI) Headlight high beam (left)
(H-LP RH-HI) Headlight high beam (right)

They should be 15-amp mini fuses.

I don’t see it on that fuse panel. I’ve attached the diagram. Am I missing something? Are there other fuse panels in the car besides those 2?

Yes, check the interior fuse panel under the glove box, passenger side. Page 500 of the owners manual explains how to access the fuses.

The diagram above (IMG_4492.jpeg) is from the fuse box in the in the front passenger seat footwell.

My diagram to start this thread (IMG_4486.jpeg) is from the starboard-side fuse box under the hood, adjacent to the battery.

The diagrams attached to this post are from the port-side box.

I still cannot find any fuse with the labels you mentioned above. The closest is H-LP CLN, which I assume is for the spray washers for the headlights.

Any other suggestions?

@mm9351 I just realized that, while I want the roof-mounted light bar to turn off with the car senses oncoming traffic, the bumper-mounted lights can legally stay on with approaching traffic (as long as I aim them below the height of the low beams). This means that I do not want the Trigger connected to the high beam light switch. I only want it connected to ANY fuse related to low beam headlights. (I know that this means that I will have to turn off the roof-mounted lights manually.)

Even with the broader use case, can you find any fuse that relates to ANY head light, low beam or high beam?

Until we have a good answer, I'm going to attach the trigger wire to any fuse that is only on when the ignition is one. This can include the radio, heaters, etc.

not to partially digress from your topic, but I have not found any fuse/relay related to the headlights or fog lights. i was interested to see if i can wire the fogs to go on independent of the headlights.
