GX550 First mod?

Has anyone heard any good exhausts for the tundra?

Something deep and throaty would be fun for this beast.

Here’s a question.

If someone has ppf on their vehicle would you consider it modified?

Asking the big philosophical questions here
What if the PPF is so clear and installed so well that it's undetectable? Does that mean it exists if you can't tell it's there?

What if the PPF is installed from Factory?

I have had that on high exposure parts on a few cars.

If it's not aftermarket, then no, not a mod. It's an option from the manufacturer. I'd call it bone-stock with a good option!
If it’snot marked with a TOYOTA/ LEXUS it’s aftermarket ,only because it’s sanction byToyota/ Le us oem .doesn’t mean bone -stock good option I had to Oder my accessories even though Lexus shows it as accessories they can’t Oder some of the things

Coulda have went wheels/tires first, but went PPF and ceramic coating instead.

You feel it would be of benefit, in addition to the Toyota D-4S system on the vehicle? Would it possibly become an issue if a warranty issue developed regarding the engine?
I run the same setup on a twin turbo system on my Explorer ST and it catches a lot of oil that would end up messing with the intake. I usually get about 1 oz of oil for every 2k miles. I really don't worry about the warranty as it is des not stop the blowby pressure from getting into the intake, just the oil that would cause issues. Benefits below.

  • Carbon Buildup Prevention: Oil catch cans intercept and collect oil vapor and contaminants before entering the engine's intake system. This prevents the buildup of carbon deposits on intake valves, which can hinder airflow, reduce power and negatively affect combustion efficiency. Oil catch cans help maintain optimal engine performance by keeping the intake system clean.
  • Improved Airflow: The presence of oil vapor and contaminants in the intake system can disrupt the airflow and air-to-fuel ratio, leading to less efficient combustion. With an oil catch can in place, the intake system stays cleaner, ensuring consistent and smooth airflow for better combustion and improved throttle response.
  • Enhanced Performance: Oil catch cans can increase horsepower and torque output by reducing carbon buildup and maintaining proper airflow. The engine can breathe more freely and efficiently, resulting in a more responsive and powerful driving experience.
  • Reduced Engine Knock: Oil buildup in the intake system can lead to pre-ignition or engine knock, which can cause damage to the engine over time. Oil catch cans help mitigate this risk by preventing oil vapor from contaminating the intake air and causing irregular combustion.
  • Extended Engine Lifespan: With fewer contaminants entering the engine, critical components such as valves, piston rings, and spark plugs are subject to less wear and tear. This can contribute to a longer engine lifespan and reduced maintenance costs over time.
