GX550 Mudflaps

Are these theLandCruiser/Prado BlackHawk Jaos? have these on both front and back?? I have the dark caviar paint color so this might change the contrast effect too much yet the splattering from the front on my rock rails is severe. the Jaos look more effective?
I agree, these throw everything up.

This is what I ordered for rear:

JAOS MUD GUARD III GENERAL PURPOSE BLACK M SIZE FOR BMW MINI CROSSOVER R60 B622002 × 1

I bought a set of gx550 OT flaps off ebay for front, they seem a bit larger than what I’ve seen posted, holes line up and fit perfect with running boards. Added a picture, sorry for dirt been driving in snow and salt.

Installed el-cheapo China mudflap set from ebay. $40 shipped was hard to pass up. Couple notes: Check your plastic threaded retaining nuts holding the rear "felt liner" in place. See 1st. pic. Mine were all completely loose and needed several turns to snug up. Otherwise this was an easy install and the fit and quality is great for my needs. Zero offroading and only looking for snow and winter road grunge protection.

I may have ordered these same flaps but the order seems to be in a delay mode. Hard to trust these sideline vendors that like to wait list you while they scurry for production replenishments of esoteric parts like these. These mudflaps should come with the factory plumbing on overtrail trims. I mean off-road luxury SUV should not get dirt under its nails so easily.
Don’t they have mud in Japan???

I would be careful ordering those. I ordered a similar kit for my Premium+ and while the fronts fit, the rears did not. I believe there is a difference between the OT and non-OT rear bumpers after doing a little bit of research.
did you return yours? if not want to sell it to me

FYI I just ordered these as that part of the door does get very dirty. Will keep you posted once I receive and install them.
I am receiving these OEM ones for my Luxury on Monday from Bell Lexus in Scottsdale, AZ. Will try to install them next week or the week after and will post pictures:

I actually am very pleased with this mud flap solution for only $60!
They come with no instructions but it turns out you can just use the existing hardware to make up the difference. These photos are after driving 3 days in a rainy slog. Works really well. This set is by APremium thru Amazon. They conform perfectly . Note there’s an indention on the front flaps which I presume would conform to running boards but I have the rock bars on my Caviar Overtrail + which with mudflaps I am liking all the more whereas b4 I was thinking the rock bars worsened the splattering it’s all good now. I ended up with half the included hardware unused , just used the existing fasteners on the GX

I was told that the nut spring was on nationwide backorder

I nearly ordered the Canada ones but they were $ 310. So I waited to see if these cheapie would work out and was pleasantly surprised

Yes the mudflaps itself are from Canada, but the nutsprings are US parts
Well, I just got them tonight and everything including the nutsprings was there. BTW all the parts are made in Japan as indicated on each part label. Now I just need to figure out how to install them as there is no instructions, but it doesn't seem to be rocket science...Will post some pics once done.

Update: I got time to install the front OEM mudguards on my Luxury and it was a no brainer. You can reuse the existing screws and clip that are already there. Perfect fit. Took 15 min to do both. I looked at the rear ones and while the shape is perfectly fitting, there are no holes in the car body for the 3 top fasteners. So, I will have to drill those, and this will require a little more prep and time...Will keep you posted.

Note: there is a similar thread with a bunch of great resources on this topic: Mud Guard
