Happy to be here. We have been waiting to get into the 250 size platform. My 250 saga started with an LC LC. It checked off the boxes on paper with the bonus of being friendlier at the gas pump. As much as we liked most of the LC, it didn't work for us on the occasion of toting around family and extended family/friends. I tried to convince the wife it was going to work out as the kids get older and less of a demand for the third row.... But the noise never stopped....wife noise.

Here we are with the new GX. I can say I am so happy we did it. The GX has roughly the same options as our premium + but is better all around. To start, it's much quieter on the inside driving on the highway (wind noise almost gone!), the fit out is more refined, the dash options are well designed, infotainment side bar is there now (had to go into the Toyota app from car play to get to infotainment), seats are more comfortable, heated second row seats, info screen a lot more appealing, volume knob not up and out in a cooky place, interior lighting, seems to drive smoother and a third row. These are off the top of my head at the moment and I'm sure more will pop into my head.

Our loss from the LC was the rear locker, front disconnect and additional drive modes. A bit of a bummer but honestly, I'm not driving this vehicle like that. I would get t he LC or Overland for that use which would be in the future. I've had two built out tocomas and an FJ in the past for that work.

Going back to the LC motor compared to the GX would be a no go after driving the GX around for a bit. The mid range is much better on the GX. That crumby noisy 4 cylinder on the LC...uhgg. Jury is out on the milage. We weren't getting great mpg's on the LC. Mixed was 20 mpg max.
