Originally I thought it was a matte paint. However, from an article I read, "Incognito is a shade of gray with a little gloss for the finish that creates a stealthy look." The IS500 launch edition was offered with that paint color.

Definitely not a matte....
Interesting. It seems like a hard color to photograph. Every time I see a photo it seems more like a rendering of the color.
It looks like it'll be similar to the Carbonized Grey Metallic on the Bronco?
No, Carbonized Grey is definitely metallic. I would say it's probably more like Ford's Avalanche Gray.

Where were these photos taken? I assume this is not in the US???

Not 100% sure, but I believe they were taken when the GX550 was on display at a dealership in Houston?

It would be great if Lexus announced a GX550 tour across the states!
Pre-Production Prototype at Northside Lexus in The Woodlands, TX (just north of Houston). It was on display last Friday, but none of the electronic worked.
