Infotainment shut off

For those of you talking about the stock nav map not displaying the correct mode, it’s a known problem that has a TSB out acknowledging the problem, which will be fixed with a future update.

Basically, it’s a bug where the map isn’t in the right mode. The rest of the system is, so that’s why there’s a strip at the top that doesn’t match the map. When it’s a white stripe, it’s supposed to be in day mode but it’s showing a night map. When it’s a dark stripe, it’s supposed to be in night mode but is showing a day map.

You can fix temporarily by toggling day/night mode. Or better yet, just keep it permanently in night mode (or day made, but that would be annoying at night).

I have the white fading strip at the top when in dark mode and the black fading strip at the top when in daytime mode. And sometimes it gets confused between day and night mode. I'm going to try to set it to permanent night mode.

I have had my car since May 2024 and the screen just stopped working this morning out of nowhere. It is mostly black, but every once in a while shows the Lexus logo like it is booting up, and then blacks out again. Made a service appointment for Tuesday…. I’ll let you know what happens.

Update- the screen needs to be replaced and I will be in a loaner for about a month until it comes and is installed. At least the loaner is nice

This happened to me in November as well. I got my car in July 2024 Like others, it came back on within 20 seconds and I had no more issues until last Monday, January 6th. My screen again went black, but this time instead of coming back up, it came up with a gray static screen (think like going to the wrong channel back in the day). Then as you were driving it would flash a black screen then go back to the gray static. Crazy part was my Apple CarPlay would connect randomly but I of course couldn’t control a thing, including air, and seeing other info. The dealership I use, Lexus of Jacksonville, hasn’t seen this before. They luckily as replacing the radio system saying it failed but the part won’t be in until Feb 10th! Has anyone had their screen not come back up?

Trish this exact same thing happened to me!!! I was just under 10k miles when it happened. Parts won’t be in until Feb 10th! Happened last Monday 1/6
