Took mine home on Mother’s Day, $1k below MSRP. I placed my deposit June 2023, the day after initial press release.
I can’t wait til you get it @Lord Helmet. They probably won’t, since they have hundreds on the wait list. I was eligible for LFS’ rebate program, so it was applied to MSRP.
True, I know the list is long... 400+ but I've talked to the sales guy who said people either cancels or pick another color so the list dwindle down.
I picked up my new GX 550 yesterday in the Minneapolis area. I paid the full MSRP but no mark up. Had some options I would not have picked which added to the price. I had been on the waiting list for about a year.
Welcome, I put down a deposit 2 weeks and was told 8 to 10 months possibly for the model and color I want.
I found a great deal on a 2019 CPO LX 570 so I grabbed it. It’s covered bumper to bumper for 2 years, maybe I’ll trade it in after that for a GX. Lexus should have the kinks worked out by then. Not convinced yet the TT V6 will be as durable as the dinosaur V8.

V6 been out since 2018 with few mods there is been no issues yet still to be determined on the GX the lx’s with the v6 are minimal

So can you actually negotiate for the car??? For the most part everyone has said they are in such demand you get what you get. My husband suggested we look in another area. One other thing, I saw commercials for the GX over the weekend! Can someone help me understand why they would advertise a car they don’t have!

I believe the $1k discounts are either for military or recent college graduates.
The team at Canvasback in Minneapolis are looking for a OT to measure for its interior protection, would you be open to let them measure your car?
We put a deposit down in June 2023. In April, I received a call about a Luxury plus coming during May. We declined; our original "order" was for a premium plus. On Friday, August 16, we finally picked our premium plus, atomic silver exterior and dapple-gray interior up and so far, are extremely happy with it. We have owned several first and second generation GXs and believe Lexus has hit it out of the park with the new design. Clearly, there are some small disappointments with the appearance of the new interior and relative lack of storage space but overall, we are very pleased with our truck.
My GX 550 is not an OT model.
I put a deposit down the end of May. My OT+ (Nori/Black) arrived earlier this month. Dealer did charge an extra 2500 (grrr). I originally expected it to take much longer. Dealer told me that they had recently changed ownership and sometime Lexus tries to help out "new" dealerships by allocating them extras.
I got on the waitlist at my local dealer two months ago. I was told it would probably be around 9 months or less. So sometime around the end of this year to the beginning of next year I expect to see it.
