Navigation home and work address

I can't seem to input a home and work address via the car or through the lexus app. I understand that most people don't like putting their home address, but that is not the point here.

On the Lexus app, I can get to "set home address" but it won't allow me to search for my home or work address.

Has anyone successfully added a home or work address through the app or car?

On the home screen of the Lexus app, tap "Find" in the lower right corner. The tap "Destinations". You should be able to set Home, Work, and other favorites. Then for each one tap "Send to Car"

I spoke to a Lexus "Connected Tech" service person but she couldn't figure it out either. I have a reference number and she was supposed to look deeper into the issue.

try waiting on the app for a bit and see if it shows up? happened to me as well but it’s random, sometimes, I had to wait for 20-30s on the Lexus app or nav display before home or fav show up. I am just going to stick with CarPlay . With the new nav setup, I don’t think the maps are stored locally in the computer .. I could not get the factory navigation to work when travelling in areas with poor cell phone coverage up in mountain regions of Vermont and New Hampshire . I much prefer the older Lexus nav system.. I could load navigation and maps even in remote locations..

I got my GX last week and was working on setting this up on my iPhone. As noted already, searching for addresses in the iOS app does absolutely nothing. If you try to search for a business, you’ll likely have luck. Unfortunately, that doesn’t work for home or many other addresses. I tried this on my phone (16 Pro Max) and two iPads. All on some form of iOS 18. Nothing.

I do have a secondary Android phone (Pixel 8 Pro), and the search function in the Lexus app here works perfectly. This may explain why some have issue and some don’t.

Hopefully Lexus updates their iOS app to actually work for this function soon.

what i was abe to finally do (On IOS Lexus App) was in your history of addresses you looked up, you can select one and save it as a favorite...at that point you can select it as your home or work address.
