Yeah I agree, very annoying the towing function does not do that, it did on my BMW X4, maybe we can get the GX configured at the garage for it to do this when put in tow mode.20' Coachmen Apex Nano BHS. 4300# empty, 6000# gvwr. The cable barely reaches.
I had to turn off driver assist features to hitch. And I had to manually turn off the power gate/hands-free because it will hit the jack. I wish the tow button did those things as well.

Looks like towing the Polaris to the deer lease will be a piece of cake. Nice and level, only added 1 1/2” of sag, better than the 2020 Sequoia. Haven’t weighed it all out, probably around 4,000 pounds of trailer and Polaris max.
Plenty of power, brakes good.
What’s the weight on your RV? Looks like some helper bags might be of some use in the rear.

We're yet to take delivery of our 'Sports Luxury', which is top of the range here in Aus, just wondering for those that tow heavy trailers with it, do they suffer from suspension sag at all in the rear? MDC, an Australian company, was selling these in the US. It's my understanding they are no longer bringing the AusRV branded trailers into the US. Instead the brand in the US is MDC. ROA in Salt Lake City is the US representative for MDC trailers now. These are robust off-road trailers with independent suspension. We did check out an OBI Dweller 13 which is similar (and a bit lighter) but lacked the storage and it was prone to sway much more than the AusRV 13. The downside of the AusRV units is that they didn't come with a furnace. I had a Webasto diesel heater installed which works great. The ROA guys in Salt Lake would know if anymore AusRV units are available. Because they were ending the import of these, I got a really low price.Who makes your camper trailer? IMO, that's not bad at all. My 03 Expedition (5.4L V8), which gets 16 mpg on a good day with a tailwind, is lucky to see 11.5 when towing my boat. (88 Crestliner sportfish) I think this GX will do me well.Towing mpg was 12.5 mpg on mostly flat, then dropped to 11.2 in the hills.
