Undercoating for winter climates

How long does it take to dry before use?

Installed mud flaps today and will “walk back” my earlier response. Noticed it had setup to a very light almost imperceptible film.

Have a feeling we’re in for a biblical winter. Toyota not being known for great rust protection I decided to stack the deck.

The ACF-50 is a great tip because of its reported ability to fix existing rust, not just prevent new rust. So it seems perfect for dealing with a rig that wasn't thoroughly treated when new (like my 4Runner). I'm having trouble getting in to my nearest Krown shop, where I had mine done for the first time last November after 3 years of ownership. So this looks like a great interim step until I can get another full professional coating. Thanks again for posting it.

You bet and agreed on the 4Runner needing all the help it can get on rust prevention. I'm living the same dream with my son's 23 Tacoma
