I emailed them a couple of weeks ago and they responded within 72 hours saying it would be shipped out in 4-7 days or so. Send an email and ask when you should expect it to arrive.

I have multiple times and I keep getting the same answer. Copy and paste. “We are working on getting all pending orders out as quickly as we can. We were out of stock for a few weeks and are working on clearing all pending orders as fast as we can.”. That’s it, no other answer or details.
I just realized my order didn’t come with the CAN patch harness/cable. Honestly, it’s starting to feel like they’re sending out incomplete packages just to quiet people about the delays, without actually fixing the problem.
For anyone considering the kit, I’d hold off on buying from VF Tuner until they start actually addressing members’ concerns. The lack of communication with so many people having valid questions is disrespectful, plain and simple. If people are spending, or already spent, their money, they deserve clear answers and a lot better than this.

That's disappointing to hear. I ended up ordering a kit after mulling it over this past week since it still seems this is the best option out there at least in terms of performance. As mentioned before, I think they are just spread too thin for all that they have going on. Guess we will see.
can't say for sure, but when I just got the GX i had some back and forth with them and really felt like it's just the one guy doing everything. can also say it wasn't the best interaction as he was pretty sure i'm trying to scam him somehow.
having said that, from what i've been seeing/reading, this is still the best option for the GX in terms of install/capability, but i'll only pull the trigger once there are enough longer term success stories so I don't need to contact him for support. really wish he'd jump on this thread and give some update.
I will say there have been a good number of people on here running it and the only issue I remember reading was with someone running an AFe charge pipe that had some sort of issue that was causing malfunction lights and limp mode with aggressive throttle. I think that was solved specifically with the bolt on and not related to the tune. I think as long as you can get the cable and get it installed there wouldn't be anything to worry about from there on.

I am sorry everyone I have not been getting any notifications of people linking / @ our names on this forum..
We are not ignoring anyone, I truly did not get ANY notifications that this thread was even active... We have been so busy trying to catch up I have not had the time to look through all of our forum posts.
Yes we are delayed right now on getting kits out. This is unfortunately out of our control but we are trying as fast as we can. Several of our components got backordered and we had a dealer order everything we had left in stock back in march, all at once. And then requesting a second order for more.. It left us scrambling to get more.
We have a lot more kits that were SUPPOSE to arrive by UPS Monday this week but they still have not delivered it. It is expected tomorrow and then a bunch more orders are going out.
We are a small team. 2 people and truly we are going as fast as we can. We had significantly more orders than expected since the start of the year and have been trying to catch up.
And please, before telling us "hire more people" I understand that, but it does not fix the issue of components getting to us in a timely manner.
We prepared well for the start of this year having over 300 of our kits in stock and one of our major dealers hit is with an order buying all of them.
I completely understand everyone having some disappointment in the shipping times and all other delays. We are grateful that you support us and all I can do is sincerely apologize. Right around beginning of March the amount of orders that started coming through has been 3x our expectation. On top of ourselves being delayed by both UPS.. it is a bit of a mess.
But please understand, if you have ordered, you will receive your kit, tunes, and more.
The Turbochargers have already shipped and thankfully we have extras available so there are zero wait on those.
We provided the timeline on the turbos based exactly on what the turbo manufacturer told us. These turbochargers are made by IHI japan, they make Toyotas Turbos (along with many other manufacturers). When the Tundra engines started going boom, I could only assume the delays were due to having to meet a huge demand of new turbochargers suddenly.
The last pieces of our CAN Connect cables.. which were suppose to arrive 4 days ago, now won't arrive until the 20th.
These components are impossible in America and go through China (that's where the connect pieces are made) Standard EMS shipping which can be anywhere from 5 days to 30 days... Realistically I would say "end of the month" to be safe.

Our updated tunes will be ready for release the weekend of the 22-24th.

Thanks for the update, glad to hopefully see the revised tune coming out finally this month. I'll be looking forward to having the newest once I receive my kit hopefully towards the end of the month as well.

Since I did not receive my CAN connector, can I use my WiFlash purchase as credit for the turbo kit and pay the difference in cost?
I would think you'd still need the Wiflash to flash the tune needed to run the upgraded turbo properly.
