My dealer got 2 OTs in recently. Both NoriI've been looking at the "In transit" GX 550s on my dealer's website for a while now. I should be getting a call within the next couple of months saying my GX has been allocated. I've noticed that for the last few weeks there seems to be a lot Nori Green OT+ GXs getting allocated with Incognito being the second most common color. I'm on the list for a white or silver OT+. Anyone else notice a preponderance of Nori/Incognito GXs being allocated at their dealer recently? Or maybe this is just the results of random chance at my local dealer.
I got on my dealer's waitlist in June of '24, but I believe you in Canada didn't get the GX as early as we did in the US, right? It'll be interesting to see if I end up with a '24 or a '25.I am on the waiting list for a white OT+ and placed deposit Aug. '23.
I was told mine will be a 2025 model now and that's the only for sure...
Not sure. I'll take either one.2024 or 2025? Do you know?
Won’t be much of a differenceI got on my dealer's waitlist in June of '24, but I believe you in Canada didn't get the GX as early as we did in the US, right? It'll be interesting to see if I end up with a '24 or a '25.
Agreed...might be a small price increase for the '25 and, if I even trade it in for another vehicle I might get a small amount more for a '25. I'm not concerned either way.Won’t be much of a difference
What’s the waiting time from ordering before you drove your GX home?
I ordered mine 12 Sept 24. Was delivered yesterday. I’m in AL and ordered from Birmingham Lexus. GX550 OT+…atomic silver with black onyx roof. Love it!What’s the waiting time from ordering before you drove your GX home?
I don’t think there will be any major changes in features. I do think Toyota/Lexus might resolve some minor items in the next model year.Won’t be much of a difference
Congrats.Lexus of Orlando. Nore Green/black two tone black interior OT+. 5hr drive there yesterday, Bought it. Brought home today. Zero wait…took my name off a Land Cruiser been waiting a month for.. n delivery date(refundable deposit). Glad I got the Lexus!
I would guess the actual timeline will be sooner than the 2 years. With all lists, dealers tend to under promise and overdeliver. I am guessing this was Greenwood village if you're in Denver, they told me the same. That said, it wouldn't surprise me if Denver/CO had some of the largest lists in the country. Toyota loyalty runs deep there. Is there really such a crazy demand in Colorado? I got on a list in May and got told 8 months wait, only got allocation a few weeks ago. Today my vin is finally shown as in transit, so December delivery, hopefully earlier rather than later, before the snow hits again. So will be over 7 months, close to what the dealer estimated.
Both on Facebook and on forums people are getting them left and right. The biggest dealer in Colorado in October was saying the list for OT+ is 2 years haha. Dealer in Utah is also saying about 6-8 month wait. All the inventory searches are useless, they let you know how many vehicles a certain dealer is getting, but all of them are spoken, and not sure if any allow out of states yet.
In June for a prem+, I was told 4-6 months by Co Springs, 6 mo by Greenwood and initially 8 mo by Stevinson which was updated to three years when i called in August to get an update by a sales person who was angry as soon as I said GX waitlist.I would guess the actual timeline will be sooner than the 2 years. For reference- I just moved from Denver. In the last 2 years I've bought and built 5 4Runners. Lift, wheels & tires - and I sold every single one for more than I paid after mods. Strongest Toyota truck market out of anywhere I've lived.
