Looks like towing the Polaris to the deer lease will be a piece of cake. Nice and level, only added 1 1/2” of sag, better than the 2020 Sequoia. Haven’t weighed it all out, probably around 4,000 pounds of trailer and Polaris max.
Plenty of power, brakes good.
Heck yeah that thing looks almost level even with 4k lbs behind it. Same truck I’m getting in the next couple weeks.
What’s the weight on your RV? Looks like some helper bags might be of some use in the rear.
Wt is 7,000 lbs when loaded and tongue wt. is 1,100 lbs when loaded with fuel. I already put helper bags on now. Thanks for the input. 
Cool….Ive never run them, but considered getting them for mine. Whats your opinion on them?

I haven't towed with them yet but the ride without air in them is like factory. This should stop my bottoming out with dips in the road.The info is over here.

Who makes your camper trailer? I've been looking at similar.

MDC, an Australian company, was selling these in the US. It's my understanding they are no longer bringing the AusRV branded trailers into the US. Instead the brand in the US is MDC. ROA in Salt Lake City is the US representative for MDC trailers now. These are robust off-road trailers with independent suspension. We did check out an OBI Dweller 13 which is similar (and a bit lighter) but lacked the storage and it was prone to sway much more than the AusRV 13. The downside of the AusRV units is that they didn't come with a furnace. I had a Webasto diesel heater installed which works great. The ROA guys in Salt Lake would know if anymore AusRV units are available. Because they were ending the import of these, I got a really low price.
MDC were one of the first Australian Trailer companies that are actually using a Chinese factory to build the structure and core parts, many other manufacturers now do the same. They are not the best quality and being from Aus myself I would always choose a true Aussie manufacturer like Cub or Patriot campers first but there is a significant increase in price.
So I towed my Polaris to the deer lease and the new GX is amazing, even with some of the steeper grades out on I10 west, I don’t think I ever exceeded 3k on the tach. So much easier than my wife’s 2020 Sequoia V8 which revved high in the hills, the transmission is a big upgrade I’m sure. Smooth as glass, I’m very satisfied. Towing mpg was 12.5 mpg on mostly flat, then dropped to 11.2 in the hills. Calculations based on miles and actual consumption. Thirsty little booger, but you get a lot of smooth power out of it.
Kind of fun getting around on the lease for a bit in it too! Time now for a good cleaning…

IMO, that's not bad at all. My 03 Expedition (5.4L V8), which gets 16 mpg on a good day with a tailwind, is lucky to see 11.5 when towing my boat. (88 Crestliner sportfish) I think this GX will do me well.
