I don't think that was the 3M materials fault. Any new install you do should wrap the edges so that doesn't happen
dealers typically use pre-cut kits (cheaper labor to install) that leave a lot of the edges exposed.
Say what you will about auto journalists....but I don't disagree with them...

Anyone know or want to try to see if this kit will work for the GX? I know it works for the US LC's per their forum

Not a deal.
if in NY...there are several dealerships doing MSRP with no add-ons
Try Marcello at New Country Lexus of Great Neck.
I was going to order from them but found a local deal to save on shipping costs
you can also try waiting until it arrives and saying that you won't buy it with any...
I ordered this and immediately requested to return it. It's a sloppy fit behind the rear view mirror. The weathertech and Automate cut outs address this area much better than the spring type covers.
if you have a spring compressor, have all the correct tools to do it, and have done suspension work before, 5 hours should be enough time.
If this is your first time doing it, $800 will seem like nothing when you are 4 hrs in and unable to put your GX back together.
Bought this after i saw a couple of other members post about it. Pretty happy with it and it holds my office keys and entry fobs to free up my cup holder.

the tailgate wouldn't have opened if the glass was open.
Have you tried stepping away after pressing the "Close + Lock" button yet? I tried it on mine and it will close after the key is no longer detected in range

Nothing noticeable on the street. Not recommended for heavy off-road use. Should be fine for trails. I had a local tire shop install it. It’s a...
what mpg is showing on your Dash? Mileage remaining shown will vary based on your current mpg....But as stated above...you will likely get a fuel light when you have used around 17 -18 gal of gas.
yes, that makes more sense. I, on the other hand, want to be able to control fogs independent of the headlights.....That might solve your problem since the fogs will always be on and yellow. :)
not sure how you will be able to get yellow when off with a led bulb and not using tint on the outer fog lens.
You were able to obtain that with halogen bulbs and reflectors on older light housings but leds are just tiny diodes
Per the manual, the default standard state is close and “walk away” and you have to step away from the vehicle for it to start closing. I haven’t tried this myself, but decided to go through the manual after reading your post
Will need to go to dealer to switch to the direct close and lock it seems
