I have been looking at bumpers and rock sliders for my OT+ ever since I acquired it this Summer. My use case is getting to hiking and fishing in the mountains where the path can be very rutted and gnarly.

Bumper: Seems I am a bit early here but they are starting to appear: JW, CBI just came out (available in March), Victory and NYTOP.
I actually prefer a low profile bumper without the winch but can’t find anyone who has installed the NYTOP.

Rock sliders: Westcott, Dissent, Victory and NYTOP. Middle 2 require drilling which may actually be the best way if not the most nerve wracking. Greenlane and Dissent say they can’t confirm if their LC model fits the GX.

Anyone w experience adding aftermarket bumpers or rock sliders?

If the sliders - what did you do about the built in lights on the GX running board?

I decided to order both the skid assembly and sliders from NYTOP. While the front bumper from CBI Offroad looks fantastic their customer service is lacking so no way I'm giving them my business.

I did entertain the idea of lifting, installing bigger tires, front bumper, rear bumper and all that jazz but the cost would have skyrocketed to a crazy number.

In the end, I'm just getting a Sherpa rack, Camp King RTT, Baja light bar, 275/70R18 KO3 tires, skids, and sliders from NYTOP. That should suffice for my needs. Save the change for adventures that don't include rock crawling.

LMK how you like the NYTOP gear in particular. I do like those Sherpa racks. In the meantime I bought some Victory 4x4 cross bars which are lower profile than OEM (hard not to be)
