For those of you that put in dash cams, what fuse did you tap in the internal fuse block? I have a BlackVue cam and a battery backup. Not sure if I will use the battery yet as I don't know where to store it but i'm looking to tap a fuse that works with ignition so I don't drain my battery.

Thanks

Why would you want to tap in the fuse box and potentially cause other electrical problems?
I have this in my GX550 and it works perfectly! There is a built-in switch for continuous parking monitor, or ~15-minute surveillance after you park. Check it out here:
OBD2 connector

That's how I have always installed them before but agree if there is an easier way, I'm in. Thanks for sharing. That looks pretty cool. I'll check it out. Would also be nice if someone made a y adapter so you could plug in at rear view mirror like the FitCamX.

Yes, I have the USB type c input. However, these OBD2 connectors are available with different type USB connectors, without the need of an adapter, to match your dashcam input.
