Excessive Beeps

Someone please help me understand why my GX beeps 9 times when I lock the doors. What is the warning and how do I find the warnings menu. I don't see anything in the OM concerning the beeps.

Rear Seat Reminder. It activates any time you’ve opened the rear doors and beeps when you lock the car.

Its mad that you closed the doors too hard. But yea just an additional rear seat reminder. Can be turned off in the settings, but since I've forgotten stuff in the rear seat many times, I like it. Just lower the beep volume in the settings.

Its 6 beeps, and my kids car seat causes it every time i get out of the car

Thank you for asking this, it is very annoying. I'd like to disable this too if possible.

Ok soooo what's the solution and cause . With the exception of rear seat being occupied.

Ours happens when you open a rear door to place something inside. When you arrive at your destination and lock up without opening the rear door again it beeps to remind alert you a child might still be in the back seat. Thanks Lexus, it's just my dry cleaning.

Yea, that beeping was kind of annoying and I turned them off in the settings menu. But at least your dry cleaning was saved!

Its 6 beeps, and my kids car seat causes it every time i get out of the car

I disabled the rear seat alert in the settings and my kids' car seats no longer cause the incessant beeping. I do however still get daily alerts to check the back seat from the digital key on my phone - can't have it all, I guess!

Haven't gone through all the settings yet I'll have to find it to turn it off. It would be convenient if I could have everything turned on when wife is driving (her wishes) and everything turned when I'm driving.
