I too am waiting on a OT + incognito from Priority Newport News,Va. They say July 7-12 for delivery. Put my deposit down on 5-4.
Wife has 2023 GX-460 premium which she loves.

Yep. We were told last Friday ours was released from hold and now I check yesterday on progress and still processing at port and delivery window stretches into Aug. At this point, whatever.

Weird how ad-hoc this is with people on deposit lists for almost a year waiting with bated breath and others taking delivery almost as soon as they make a deposit.
Not too weird. I think there are two factors.
1. Particulars. Some people want one trim, one color, and an exact spec. I was looking for OT/+ in anything except white and earth.
2. Demand. Every dealer i spoke to in the DC Metro Area had a wait list "80+" deep. Moment I started cold calling dealers in Southern VA, NC, West PA, and Ohio they had availability. Granted it was mostly Prem/Lux trims.
I think the hyper demand is isolated to demographical areas that have an abundance of people in the market for $80k+ SUV's. Make some relationships out of you region and taking a train/plane for pickup might land you a deal.
Ridecanyon, same thing happened to me. They told me last week would deliver to dealer from QC hold between 7/1 and 7/17. Now my sales guy texted me the photo below, delivery date moved 2 weeks into August. Pretty bummed out this keeps dragging out at every turn for me

another factor is that I think those of us who were designated an early allocation (ours arrived at port 4/30, then on hold 5/17) but are caught up in the hold are then "hidden" from the list and skipped over as new GX's are available for allocation since we are already taken car of in the eyes of the process. It's not easy to navigate as how would you pull someone further down the lists allocation to replace an earlier allocation stuck in hold?

Very similar for me too. OT+ was released and had delivery date for last 4 days and dealer watching trucks every day for my unit. Then suddenly changed yesterday and it was delayed. My dealer checked further and it is now on hold for another “inspection” on July 2 with no info for delivery after that.

Shortly before dealership close someone backed out of a deal on a OT same color i wanted, they called I went down took a look and accepted it. Gove up a few options but saved a few bucks.
She comes home today.

My Toyota and Lexus dealers are next to each other under the same ownership. I'm a known customer with 4 Toyotas purchased in the past. The dealer came up with a GX for me pretty quick, saying since I'm local to him (like 2 miles away) and he knows I'll be driving it locally and he get to service it.
When the GX allocation was offered to me the first time, I paused to check with my wife and another salesman got a commitment on that unit. That deal fell through as quick as it happened and I got a text saying the allocation was back being offered. I jumped with a deposit.
Then that cursed hold hit. I'm due to close the sale and take delivery July 3.
Only speculation maybe it depends on models ordered,they weren’t making a lot of overtrails and OT+ they weren’t forthcoming on hold so it’s anyone’s guess hope all who are in that boat gets resolved quickly
I think the launch has been pretty heavily botched.
Clearly they are shipping trucks to dealers that don’t have firm reservations and that’s where people are able to take advantage and get an order quickly.
Seems to me they shouldn’t be allocating cars to dealers without reservations for them while the pre order list is still this long.

Not completely convinced on that idea they’re not talking on how they distribute vehicles but I do agree they shouldn’t do allocation without reservation first com first served

Salesman texted me today that my Premium has cleared and is heading down from Jacksonville, expected delivery on 7/10.

Got a call from my sales guy, OT+ released from QC from Portland port and delivery date is sometime between tmrw and July 9th. Car arrived in port may 1st and been in QC hold since then.
