GX550 Mudflaps

Installed el-cheapo China mudflap set from ebay. $40 shipped was hard to pass up. Couple notes: Check your plastic threaded retaining nuts holding the rear "felt liner" in place. See 1st. pic. Mine were all completely loose and needed several turns to snug up. Otherwise this was an easy install and the fit and quality is great for my needs. Zero offroading and only looking for snow and winter road grunge protection.

So. Weird thing I noticed….

My OT+ has mud flaps lol

Not sure if it’s a Canadian / cold weather spec thing ( I also have a built in block heater ) or if it’s just something my dealer threw in.

Noticed it filling up today.

It was the Canadian Toyota website that I noticed that the fronts were fitted as standard. We only get the rear as standard in Aus. I reached out to a dealer in Canada and they gave me the part numbers which I passed onto my dealer. They had to make a request to Lexus Au to get approval to order. Slowly working on other accessories we don’t get… Boot Liner and Blackout Badges are the first 2 coming to mind.
