Update on my vibration issues. I went to the dealer yesterday for the 5th time. Technician rode with me, with my brand new michelins that they provided, the ride is still vibrating like hell at 75 MPH+. We swapped out the wheels and tires and put on the wheels and tires from the Demo GX which is a Premium+. The truck definitely rode smoother with the Premium wheels and street tires, but the vibration was still there. Tech said he couldn't feel it as much (I still noticed it, but it was a little better). The tech asked if he could drive my car home, so he can spend some more time with it. I agreed, and took home my RX loaner for the 4th time.
My tech does not believe this is a brake issue. I feel like the brake parts are not available and so the dealers are trying to avoid this as a possible issue simply because they don't have the parts to fix it. I am going to let them keep my car for as long as they need it, and then if it can't be fixed, which it seems like it can't be until the entire brake parts are replaced, then I will go with plan B and trade it in, lemon law it, or discuss buyback with the dealer.
Unbelievable that this is a Lexus and we are going through this. Not sure if you guys are familiar, but if you're not, I would recommend researching what happened when Lexus had a recall with the very first LS 400. Then, after reading about all the hoops they jumped through to take care of those customers, compare that to what we are experiencing with these GX's. "The passionate pursuit of perfection" is long, long gone.
