Just like the instant gas mileage meter - it goes from zero to 60. What a joke. It should go from zero to 20 so you can actually use it as a meter.

Instead of being a bar i wish it just showed the current mpg as a number. The bar is very hard to use for anything meaningful.Just like the instant gas mileage meter - it goes from zero to 60. What a joke. It should go from zero to 20 so you can actually use it as a meter.
Seems to me the only time any "current mpg" thingy is useful is if you're cruising on a highway and want to know the diff between 60 and 65mph or something. In any other scenario it's basically worthless. Stomp on the fast pedal and it goes toward zero, coast and you're exceeding the mfg mileage claims.Instead of being a bar i wish it just showed the current mpg as a number. While not on a Lexus, there have been times where I've looked at instantaneous MPG on a highway when driving into a headwind or up an incline. But that's really just curiosity, like you said there'd almost no real value in that display.Seems to me the only time any "current mpg" thingy is useful is if you're cruising on a highway and want to know the diff between 60 and 65mph or something.
