Yea BMW definitely integrates modern tech the best. I drive 7 was fantastic. I drive 8 feels like a step backwards.

I’m in a loaner 2 series today. Only thing I dislike is the climate controls. I actually think the integration of climate controls in the GX550 better. But integration of maps in the dash is leaps and bounds better in BMWs.

Is it just Apple Maps that also shows up in HUD? No google?

I haven’t been able to get Google maps to work and just wanted to check if that’s others’ experience as well

From what I've read on other car forums, that's correct. Only Apple Maps will show up on the HUD, Google Maps and Waze will not.
