Phone mount

Just got the pro clip installed …only viable route I liked after doing some research
Doesn’t take up any infotainment space or center console area. Some time will tell if I like it.

If you have something in a case with a 1/4" socket, the NEEWER Super Clamp with dual ballhead arm (Amazon) grabs onto the rail above the glove box, so you can have it at the same height as the Lexus screen.

Phone mount

I'm going to visit a stereo shop to have some dynamat sound deadening material applied inside my truck and I'll also ask them to splice in a USB-C charger and put the plug up in the dash somewhere down in the passenger footwell so that I don't have to have the charger plugged in right there on the dash. Maybe I can find a way to route the magsafe charging puck's wire back behind the dash cover too....may have to drill a hole.

I use a phone mount that sits in the cigarette lighter, charges the phone wirelessly, and raises the phone up so it's easier to see. It does not use MagSafe to keep the phone in place. Instead, it has arms on the side and the bottom that automatically open and then close, so my friends with other types of phones. can also use it.

Can you take a pic of this in your truck? Just want to see how much space it takes up

Here’s a video of my solution (video was too big to attach)

It’s worked really well. Only downsides are
1. Can’t access the 12v plug
2. I wish this short USB cable wasn’t so unnecessarily thick. A thin cable would work much better, but it’s a nitpick item.

Thank you JustinB!

I just installed and secured the same parts setup you have. I secured the charging puck with a SMALL piece of double sided nano tape (it becomes semi-permanent with time!!). The placement allows me to easily remove the phone if I need to access the 12v outlet, and I can open/close the cup holder if needed. My regular size iPhone 15 Pro mounted doesn’t interfere with a drink cup.

I did basically the same thing but I can still open the little sliding door and use my 12V plug. I like the shorty cord on yours.....the cord on my magnetic charger is about 3 feet long and I just tucked it into the seam between the center console and the dash down along the passenger side footwell.

Looks great! I should consider tweaking the placement of mine and maybe using a smaller piece of mounting tape/foam to avoid a problem removing it down the road.
