Mine has started to doing going forward as well. Still just the initial 200 feet getting out of my driveway, but still unacceptable.

I live in San Diego, on the coast. We have had a lot of foggy mornings and moist days. My OT brakes will squeak coming down the driveway first thing but once, i get going their quiet. So moisture will cause some squeaking but it should go away pretty quickly. Living here you just get used to that.I noticed that my Overtrail brakes started squealing in reverse only while I was in San Diego last week. I barely drove 20 miles the whole week in SD so I attribute it to the moist salt air. I'll have to see if it's gone away now that I'm back in AZ.
Pretty sure Lexus replaced the front rotars and pads. I’d have to look at service ticket. No experience with the gel you used.Do you have any experience with CRC regarding its long term durability? This is the first time I've used it but I've spoken to multiple technicians and product engineers and they all say it's supposed to last the life of the pads if applied and cured correctly.
Mine were pretty bad for the first 1k, but they've been quiet ever since. Might still spring for that free brake job though!anyone else with previously squeaking brakes have it go away naturally?
Haven’t heard any noise in forward or reverse (morning or night) in the last 500 miles
That's the thing, They won't replace anything if there's no noise being made.Mine were pretty bad for the first 1k, but they've been quiet ever since. Might still spring for that free brake job though!
My dealer replaced the front brake components when my OT was in for the 5K service. Doubt they heard any brake squeal as it only occurred in the morning on first trip backing down the driveway. But I had called to report it when making the service appointment and fortunately they had the parts available. Zero squeal now.@SethGX I think you are in the clear considering that the dealership already ordered your parts.
2 weeks after i told them i had a squeal, they had my brakes in and fixed. This was 2 - 3 months ago. Gave me a TX as a loanerHow long did it take you guys to get your brakes? This week is week seven from when I took it in and their service department is telling me 3 to 4 more weeks. It’s damn embarrassing backing up every time.
I’m due for my 5K service but told him I’m not gonna bring it until the brakes are in
