What benefit does that wheel give if it detracts from oem geometryThat’s the Tundra/Seq spec

285 should fit depending on the brand. It’s only a 15mm increase. Downsizing to a 17 with a 285 will put you same distance to oemI would be inclined to keep the stock wheels but would be interested in knowing if 285s would fit with little to no modifications.
Not helpful in this area sorry. What benefit does that wheel give if it detracts from oem geometry
No you’re good I was just asking in broad terms if anyone would be able to provide some insight. I’m newer to the off-road community but have been following along on the internet for about a year now. My background is in road racing so I’m familiar with suspension geometries and know there’s certain tolerances that if you exceed by putting a bigger wheel tire you will change the behavior of the vehicle significantly. Not helpful in this area sorry.
This is the route I’d go. Can anyone confirm 17” wheels will clear the calipers?Downsizing to a 17 with a 285 will put you same distance to oem
