What did you do in your GX today?

The link on Amazon says for Landcruiser - assume that does not make a difference?
It does not make a difference...perfect fit and match. There are a lot of accessories (exterior and interior) that cross over but much more of it is marketed towards the Landcruiser...

Like these for instance (saw them installed on a GX on facebook)

Tailgate Accessory Camping Lights

Those lights are cool, actually very useful.

That GX on facebook where he demonstrates the Aliexpress lights also has an additional light on the bottom of the raised tailgate where I only have a blank black plastic filler cap. I have a base OT. I assume that that tail gate light is on other trims such as OT+ or Lux or Premium.....I wonder if I can get that light from the dealer.

I wonder how the right hand bulb would accommodate the tailgate open/lock buttons that are on there now? Here is a single light that if it is plug and play may not be bad - https://www.amazon.com/Toyota-Land-...nd+cruiser+rear+door+led+light,aps,210&sr=8-2

I'll continue this.

Today, I programmed my phone to be my key. I love that feature, so I don't have to keep my fob on me or keep that big card in my wallet.
How did you get the digital key to download? I’ve tried it will cellular and WiFi and it keep getting the below message? Thanks!

Hmm...I didn't ever get that message and haven't heard of that.

I did a quick google and saw this response on another forum with confirmation that it also worked for another user. Give this a try.
I had the same problem on Android, digital key disappeared and could not get it back. I cleared the app's data, forcing a fresh logon, all well after that.

A lady in the streets but a freak in the trees.

Did some mountain bike trail building and this thing hauled tools, bikes and people like a beast.

If you watch the video and look at the Aliexpress product as well as your current setup you can see what gets swapped out. The Aliexpress light on the right side looks like it has 2 blank spaces where you install the current tailgate switches. The entire left side light with it's 2 new switches replaces the grab handle on the left side.
I'm going to stick to just replacing the one light on the inside of the door. With my luck playing around with things like the tailgate switches will cause some other issue.

I ordered up the twin white/yellow/red lights on the edge of the tailgate and also the one LED light to replace the blank panel on the inside of the tailgate. I ordered them both from Amazon (and paid more) via my business account so my company will pick up the tab and also so that I can potentially return if needed.

Either of these lights will make a big difference setting up camp in the dark (which I seem to do much too frequently).

Not quite sure from the product descriptions which lights plug in where (I think at least one product has to tap into the driver's side mini LED down in the cargo bay).

Delivery on the twin lights is Jan 20 - Feb 7 and delivery on the single light is Feb 11 - March 15....LOL

We shall see.

Took it out to play in the snow. A storm that rarely hits the SE coast of NC. Been 8 years since the last snowfall. We got roughly 5-6 inches. The GX eats up these conditions. We have no plows here and the roads are covered in a majority of spots with the sun melting some spots. Driving through the slushy spots there is very little lateral movement with the toyo open country tires on my OT+. Even trying to throw the vehicle around it is so controlled and it would take a complete moron to crash one. Still gotta use some common sense though. Felt like a kid out there. 🙂
