Can we hear from OT & OT+ owners who DON'T have vibration / ride issues?

I don't want to muck up the other thread so that remains focused on a solution for those who have the vibration / ride quality isues.

Those who are experiencing the problem(s) are vocal about it, and rightly so. But I'd really like to get a sense of how pervasive the issue is (or isn't).

Could those who aren't having ride quality issues chime in here with your thoughts on ride quality?
I had a OT+ 2024 now have 2025 OT+ slight vibrations hood at very high speed other wise none to speak of

Would you be willing to speak to your experience going from a 24->25?
I'm guessing there's a trade in loss
Loved the 24 25 gave me what I wanted in the 24 that was unavailable at the time 25 appears better or more stable in strong wind that I wasn’t expecting that but a good thing with the 1” lift it was unexpected

Thank you! I'm in a similar situation where I think the 25 changes are all what the 24 should have been. While I like the changes, I'm not sure I'm ready to swap so soon.
Much appreciated

I am surprised by this question/situation with the GX 550 OT. My vehicle is a great, comfy drive/ride. I am not aware of any vibration occurring that would cause me to question the vehicle. I am even surprised with the OT Toyo tires on the vehicle in the ride they provide - smooth, no vibration and great look to the vehicle.
I did remove the rack but that was due to noise of air flow nothing else and yes, the vehicle is quieter without the rack.

I've got about 1,400 miles and have had no issues with my OT+. Drove from ATL to Knoxville, and the ride was great. No brake squeals, no real hood flutter. Wind noise was slightly noticeable if the radio was off / going 75+ mph...

I joined the forums to add my experience with this particular issue. Unfortunately I ended up selling the 24 GX OT as the ride quality was so unlike a $74K BOF.

The vibration was consistent at all speeds, sometime felt it more in seats and at different speeds it was more pronounced in steering wheel but it was there all along. Took it to the dealer when the car had around 200 miles. The tech notified that all tires are 'out of round' and he has been seeing this frequently with new GX. The shop manager even said that it's to be expected with GX's in general - not sure what that means for a car which has insane following and demand.

In any case, I was able to sell the car with a slight loss as the demand is insane for these - it's like owning gold in current economic conditions in car industry because these things hold their value. My purchase decision was specifically because of its resale value proposition.

After few weeks of further research I got back into BMW scene and purchased a new B58 powered X5. The ride is amazingly comfortable, granted it's not an off roader. Plus it gets ~500 miles approx to the tank. Family is liking it way better than GX.

OT+, 1k miles, built in Feb ‘25 and delivered in Mar ‘25, no issues.

Coming from a Tesla, the AC/heating and app leave a lot to be desired but those are my only complaints. I also LOVE the cool box. If I stare at the hood while driving 75mph, I see the flutter, but I really have to seek that out tbh.

That X5 is such a solid SUV. I was hemming and hawing between the GX and X5 - you made the right choice for comfort and luxury. Glad you were able to exit the GX before taking a bath!

No vibration issues for me so far. I just got back from a 700 mile round trip, 40% interstate 70-80mph and the rest on really curvy secondary mountain roads in North Carolina/Tennessee. Lots of acceleration and braking and turning for miles. I feel that the truck performed very well, no noises or vibration issues. I came to the GX from a Tesla Model S Plaid, which drove pretty differently :), but even so I found driving the truck pleasant.
Just curious, which trim do you have?

Hi, I have the OT+ version. I'm now at 10,000 miles in only 4 months. Just back from 2 different trips out west, one of about 3500 miles and the other 4500 miles. Still rides nice, even after a good bit of bouncing around on Moab off road trails. It definitely feels more like a light truck than a high-powered low-profile sedan of course, but it is pretty smooth and pleasant to drive on the interstate and secondary highways, etc.
