Can we hear from OT & OT+ owners who DON'T have vibration / ride issues?

For those sharing your hood photos, if you remove the clips and take off the hood insulation, what we need to see is whether they have adhered the hood skin to the structural support. You will need to get new clips though because the original clips mostly break when taking them out.

I took delivery last week and have no hood vibration, also no brake squeal. I have had a terrible time getting the digital key to work.
Congrats, you're gonna love it. Would you be willing to share the production date of yours and whether its a 24 or 25 model year?

Changed the rims & tyres to Yokohama Geolander X-AT and at high 36/38psi I am getting a shudder/vibration on normal roads. Have dropped down to 34/36 psi and it’s improved but research shows the 10pm sidewalls have very little give in them. Might be resorting to their AT tyre or some Toyo Open Country AT.

2500 miles on OT+. No vibrations or significant wind noise. Changed oil at 1800 miles. Past 600 miles getting 18MPG with mix but 70% highway between 65-80MPH. Not great but it’s now better than first 1500 miles. I’ve been watching the real time MPG gauge which has modified my driving behavior a bit. It’s better than my trade-in. We’ll see when I stat hauling a boat. Gonna be poor MPG for sure.

~6k miles on OT we took delivery of 7/25/24 after it hit the port in April 2024 and sat through the hold so one of the first ones in Houston.

We have had absolutely zero issues other than the brake squeal for the first use of brakes in reverse following wash or rain (warranty repair and parts on order). Nit-picky "gripes" I have that aren't issues, but rather just things I'd change are that the cool box is a basically useless waste of much needed storage, the AC system takes a bit to get used to, and the power port in cargo area is powerful yet annoyingly not user friendly to power a fridge on trips. I'm also jealous of 2025 OT's with the taller coils that would fit a set of REAL 285/70R18E Toyo AT III's.

We've driven this thing all over Houston on the uneven as heck concreate "roads" and all the way to north central PA in the snow covered mountain forest roads. All speeds from daily local errand runs, to Houston commutes, to highway speeds letting thing basically drive itself across the country from TX to PA and back. She's coming from a Jeep GC Summit and an X5, and I've got a better than stock '22 Ram Power Wagon and a semi-built Jeep JKU that is my normal daily so we know what a purpose built offroad capable vehicle rides like, and also what a cushy nice ride should be.

The GX more than exceeds our expectations in both ride quality, styling, and capability. If the dog wouldn't be so pi$$ed and I had the cash I'd buy another one today for myself and replace the JKU.

I get a little vibration at high speeds, but I’m blaming that on our roads in California. Nothing concerning.

Over 20k mikes and no such issues. No hojd flutter unless I look really close and almost all cars do at that point. Great ride with a bit of the expected stiffness from being body on frame.

Approaching 15k miles and really like my Overtrail. Other than the front brakes TSB replacement, which was quickly done by my dealership, it has been flawless and a great ride. They have offered to to do the hood flutter TSB work but not sure it is worth the hassle as I live 150 miles away (and candidly that TSB repair looks a bit amateurish, not that I am a mechanic/body shop guy).

OT+, 5K miles, was on a ship mid Jul'24, picked up early Sept'24. Not as smooth as my previous car that was a 2015 IS but no "concerning" vibrations... it's just not as smooth as my prior car when I'm at a stop light but I still love the car! Break noises but still on a parts waitlist for the dealer to call me back since mid Feb'25.

How long did it take to get the front brakes done - as in did you have to wait for parts?

Would be interesting to see people who have no issues and the MFR date versus those with issues. Maybe early in the production had more issues - who knows. Maybe there is a correlation
