Good job driving that thing!3 months of ownership and 11500 miles with zero vibrations
The challenge on all these forums is that you really hear the negatives more than the positives. The complaints get posted, but often those with no problems at all aren't motivated to post about 'nothing'.Thanks everyone. As someone with an OT allocation coming up in spring of '25 this is encouraging! I was begiining to re-consider a Defender.
Keep the feedback coming!
From a reliability and resale perspective - can't think of a single reason to buy a LR over a Lexus. Thanks everyone. As someone with an OT allocation coming up in spring of '25 this is encouraging! I was begiining to re-consider a Defender.

Sorry.Could have just made this a poll..
I enjoyed the 2019 Range Rover Sport HSE I had, but I also hated the constant reboots of the infotainment system, the reporting of 30 codes thrown by every single oil change, and the constant fear that 'today is the day' it turns into a pile of crap. By 59,000 miles, I just couldn't do it anymore and bought the 2013 and 2015 LC200's and waited for the Rivian and now the GX550 to come out. From a reliability and resale perspective - can't think of a single reason to buy a LR over a Lexus.
I remember going to a meeting in Germany and going for a ride in co workers year old 2018 Aston DB11. Hardly a cheap car - and what one would expect the pinnacle of engineering. While my friend was driving about 140mph at night on the autobahn the dash suddenly went dark and the headlights went out - but the car was still running. A couple seconds go by (an eternity) and everything comes back on. My friend told me not to worry - "it does that from time to time."I enjoyed the 2019 Range Rover Sport HSE I had, but I also hated the constant reboots of the infotainment system, the reporting of 30 codes thrown by every single oil change, and the constant fear that 'today is the day' it turns into a pile of crap. It felt like a $95,000 car when new, and I loved the fit and finish and the design, but it just wasn't worth the headache and stress of what a Land Rover mechanical product really is.
In contrast, I have always felt secure jumping into any of my Toyota / Lexus vehicles, including my 92 FJ80, and heading cross country.
My milage was awful - go in and reset your mpg tracker - and it jumps up to where it should be - mile went from 13.9 to the 15-182300 miles, no vibration, ride is great. The mpg however, 13.6. I keep that green eco light on almost constantly, almost all city driving but has never come close to 15.
How do you reset the total MPG? Couldn’t figure that outMy milage was awful - go in and reset your mpg tracker - and it jumps up to where it should be - mile went from 13.9 to the 15-18
I’ll take a look in a few and reply - pretty easy - made a huge differenceHow do you reset the total MPG? Couldn’t figure that out
Go to Vehicle -then Trip Information - then clear data to reset. Clear both current and historyHow do you reset the total MPG? Couldn’t figure that out

Hey, sorry about using a funky word like modulate. What I mean is, as I accelerate, I watch the instantaneous mpg graph. Harder I push pedal, mpg graph decreases naturally. I am always in normal mode also. The mpg meter is very sensitive to foot pressure so It took my a long time to get used to it. As I accelerate I am constantly watching meter. I have dropped from 20.3 to 20.1 in the last thousand miles as I am starting to enjoy the twin turbo pick-up.Wow, this is way better than what I'm getting. Can you describe what you mean by modulating to the graph?
I keep my OT+ in eco and am generally not in a hurry (got used to taking it easy in my `17 4runner with hundreds of extra pounds of armor). But despite the casual driving style and eco setting, i'm lucky to top 17mpg for any given tank in the GX, and am typically between 15 and 16.5. I track mileage between complete fill-ups and always record the actual mpg (of course, this is only as accurate as the gas pump's auto-stop at 'full' is consistent, but should be pretty close). I also lean a little heavier to the highway side than your split. I would love to eek out a few more MPGs from this thing. Rides great, but this aspect is really a bummer.
