Can we hear from OT & OT+ owners who DON'T have vibration / ride issues?

Took delivery of an OT in Oct. Now have over 6k miles. What seems odd with mine is sometimes I have the vibration and other times not. Over New Years I drove from Colo Springs to Tucson. I noticed driving out of Colo Springs, the vibration was pretty noticeable around 70 to 75 mph as has been the case since I got it. If I noticed that when I drove at 80 mph, it smoothed up. I stopped in Albuquerque to eat and afterwards when I got on the interstate, it was vibrating badly at 60 to 65 mph like it never has before. So I accelerated to 80 for awhile and then the bad vibes at the lower speeds returned to normal vibrations. I suspected at the time that the BFG KO3 tires may have had a temp flat spot formed while eating. But throughout the rest of the trip, I never experienced that bad vibration again even after similar stops from interstate speeds to eat. It did seem coming home that the vibes weren't as bad. In the past, I have had two 4Runners (4th and 5th Gen) dnd never had this kind of vibration. In summary, the vibration comes and goes. Puzzling to say the least. I will soon be replacing the rear springs with heavier Dobinson springs as I am adding a Victory 4x4 rear bumper with spare tire carrier and will be towing a 5000 lb off-road camp trailer. Curious to see if these changes affect the vibration experience. (BTW, changing out the stock Toyos that came with the OT with the KO3s Load Range E tires did not affect my vibration experience - tires are not the cause IMHO)
Thanks for the info. Please keep us posted after the spring change.

Brand new OT+ arrived 2 days ago. Glad to report after multiple highway runs to test things out, no vibration noted.

I did see a Wescott Designs review today online of their new GX and they noted the vibration and traced it down to the roof rack. Thankfully I don't have that on mine, but I know its a source of noise. I"m curious if it also is causing many to feel the vibrations?

No roof rack or cross bars on our OT+ from July '24, 6k miles and no vibration even after a 5 tire rotation at 5k service. Just noticed the hood flutter on our 1996 80 series Land Cruiser at highway speed. I guess they did a GREAT job making it perform like a modern 80! We enjoy them both for their similarities and differences.

7k miles since April, no vibrations and the vehicles been so good that I think people experiencing vibes are making it up or way to sensitive for this type of truck

6000 miles and no vibrations. The roof rack was DEFINITELY causing a vibration for the first 1000 miles I pushed through to keep it up there. I bought the Lexus cross bars and those also caused a slight vibration and lots of noise. My dealership has been fantastic and taken care of so many things immediately and proactively. Fixing hood flutter, replacing brakes, insulating front doors from speaker vibration, clearing transmission memory stopping clunks, etc. I LOVE my GX and knew getting a first 6 months production model would have things to correct at first.

I don't want to muck up the other thread so that remains focused on a solution for those who have the vibration / ride quality isues.

Those who are experiencing the problem(s) are vocal about it, and rightly so. But I'd really like to get a sense of how pervasive the issue is (or isn't).

Could those who aren't having ride quality issues chime in here with your thoughts on ride quality?
I have 10,700 miles on base OT purchased August ‘24, and have had no vibration issues. In comfort mode it’s a smoother ride than my LC 200.

Just had my first service.

I feel no vibration in my Overtrail whatsoever. At speed above 80, I can barely notice a tiny bit of the hood fluttering. Mine's been a great overall driving experience.

In 3 months and 1500 miles, I have not noticed any significant vibration issues, wind noise or hood flutter. Overall, I am very pleased with my GX550 OT.

I have noticed that the GX550 ride/steering is a bit "floaty" in that there are small unanticipated sideways movement of my GX550 going on interstate and at highway speeds. This "floaty" drive effect was stronger/more annoying in my 2023 4Runner, and very much an issue in my 3rd gen Tacoma Off-Road, so I figured this was simply a Toyota 4X4 side-effect. Because I never noticed this "floaty" road wandering trait in any of my Ford and Chevy 4X4 company trucks (factory suspensions) nor in my Tesla Y - which tracks the highway like it's on rails.
This floaty aspect was brought to my attention by my son when he bought a 2020 Tacoma Off-Road. He hated that floaty road-wandering trait so much that he finally traded it in on a new Chevy Silverado truck in 2022. His timing couldn't have been better for a trade-in as the Chevy dealer offered him more than what he paid for it 2 years earlier - the increased values of used vehicles was the only positive aspect of the Covid disaster.

My OT+ (picked up in the middle of November) is smooth. At least on smooth roads. On the asphalt roads near my house that have heaves and potholes it rides like the body on frame truck that it is. But it doesn't have any constant vibration.

Just hit 9K miles and no vibrations at all. Have very slight hood flutter which doesn't bother me at all. Back sub woofer is worthless, but the best thing is I am averaging 20.1 mpg. I keep the instantaneous bar mph graph in the upper left hand corner of gauges. Iv'e learned to modulate the accelerator pedal to the meter. Took some getting used to but works like a champ. 30% highway, 70 city driving.
Wow, this is way better than what I'm getting. Can you describe what you mean by modulating to the graph?

I keep my OT+ in eco and am generally not in a hurry (got used to taking it easy in my `17 4runner with hundreds of extra pounds of armor). But despite the casual driving style and eco setting, i'm lucky to top 17mpg for any given tank in the GX, and am typically between 15 and 16.5. I track mileage between complete fill-ups and always record the actual mpg (of course, this is only as accurate as the gas pump's auto-stop at 'full' is consistent, but should be pretty close). I also lean a little heavier to the highway side than your split. I would love to eek out a few more MPGs from this thing. Rides great, but this aspect is really a bummer.

I'm one of the lucky ones with no unwanted vibrations under normal condtions. Got my OT+ mid July after the drainage-tube-port-fix-delay-thing. Just shy of 10K with one interstate trip, and probably about a 50/50 hwy/city split. Rides really nice.

Completely stock

I don't have a rack, and only intsall the crossbars as needed for certain trips.

I did have the break squeal in reverse issue that they have a fix kit for.

I do hate the hood flutter, but am not holding my breath on a fix, just not a rigid part.
