I went with Dissent Off-Road’s front bumper. Nestled in that bumper is a Comeup 12.5 winch.

Yeah, they used my GX for the prototyping. Ben and his team are freaking amazing!Looks amazing! I believe I was the first public order! Now the waiting game.
Agreed! I’ve had their products on several previous vehicles. I also discussed with Ben the possibility of sending my GX to him for prototyping, but timing didn’t workout. You beat me to it! Your GX looks great, what are the suspension specs?Yeah, they used my GX for the prototyping. Ben and his team are freaking amazing!
I believe the price difference is due to Victory's being aluminum versus steel.Victory front bumper, no lights included ($,2349)
CBI front bumper no lights ($1,710) with light bar ($2,585)
JW w/ powdercoat ($1,550)
Why the large price diff between Victory and the other 2 ?
Thank you. Does it come down to personal preference when choosing between aluminum and steel? Steel for strength and better impact, aluminum for weight savings?I believe the price difference is due to Victory's being aluminum versus steel.
I believe so. Some might choose aluminum paired with a winch to reduce weight. I'm certainly in that category. My nearly built out rig is 400 lbs from max GVWR for the OT+ so any savings would be good.Thank you. Does it come down to personal preference when choosing between aluminum and steel? Add some kind of lock washer like the star lock washers to prevent slippage?I know exactly what you mean. If the lights get totally moved and need to be re-bolted into place, this whole bumper will need to come off.
I put 3" Rigid cubes in those spaces and no matter how hard I try to tighten the hex-head bolts that hold the Rigid cubes to the Rigid mounting brackets, they can still move under force. I can almost move them up & down with my thumb from the outside.
These are some I'm considering as well... Lexus GX550 High Clearance Winch Bumper by Dissent Off-road https://cbioffroadfab.com/product/lexus-gx550-front-bumper-2024/ https://nytop.com/lexus-gx550-toyot.../2024-current-lexus-gx550-front-hybrid-bumper https://www.victory4x4.com/product/VGXFB-55-24-A.htmlHey everyone, I am currently aware of two front winch bumper options for the GX550.
The first one that came out was from Victory 4x4 and can be seen here: GX Front Bumper | Blitz | 550 (24+) - Victory 4x4
The second is from JW Offroad and can be seen here: GX550 LOW CUT FRONT WINCH BUMPER.
I contacted NYTOP because they have a nice looking bumper render without a winch to ask if they would have a winch version and they said... maybe, but no plans yet.
If you know of other bumpers or if you get one of these, we would like to hear your experience with getting it installed and how you like it.
