GX550 Aftermarket Wheel & Tire Thread

Has anyone put these Tundra wheels on their GX? Curious how they look.

Would these fit premium plus? Pick up mine last week. White with blackout emblems and want totally black rims.
yes...that combo is 33". because of avail offsets from Vossen, you just need to be ok with the wheel/tire poking out more than stock

My HF6-4 are on order and will be going with 275/60/20 or 285/60/20

it's 33.5", it'll be close but I have a 1.25" lift in the front already. I'm leaning towards the 275/60/20 for an even 33" and no risk of problems.

Not too many threads with a tire in that size....but there were a few on the LC forum that had no issues.

Thanks, thinking of running a similar setup. What did you use for the front lift?

Peak suspension spacer lift - 1.25". Spacer lift that didn't require cutting anything

Any thoughts on these rims?
  • Will 17s fit the 550?
  • Will 4mm offset keep my tires inside my wheel well? (Don’t want poke)
  • No experience with 17s - anything I should be thinking about? (Plan is for westcott leveling kit and 35s)

Poke also depends a little on tire size you choose, but stock was 40mm offset so with 36mm less offset, you're almost guaranteed to have poke.

I put 35 x 11.5 tires on 17 x 8.5 +25 wheels and definitely had poke and had to do some trimming because the front wheels rubbed.

Maiden off-road trip and the Razor Crest CRUSHED IT! Easy stuff to start, we'll up the game when the better bumper(s) come in 👌

17" x 8.5" +25mm Black Rhino AWOLs with 35" x 11.5" Faulken Wildpeak AT4s.

Even with the Westcott lift, needed the slightest fender trim and had to remove the rear plastic fender piece in the front wheel wells. The Wildpeaks are true 35" and I think the 25mm offset vs the 35mm offset that Westcott recommends is what cost me.

We just switched out for winter wheels and tires. The truck looks super beefy and has no rubbing at full lock left and right.

We’re very happy with how it turned out, it pokes out quite a bit more than the stock rims.

Hey everybody – I need to correct my thread above! We were looking at a lot of different options. I thought we bought the 18’s but we actually went with 20’s.

And the snow tires we did were Nokian Hakkapelita R5. 275-60R20

This is the set I put on lol again apologies on the error.
