GX550 Real World MPG

I’m curious for those who have bigger tire diameters than stock how do you monitor your speed? I have been using Waze/iPhone speedometer app but I’m not sure how accurate those are.
I have a mph app that I occasionally turn on and let it display speed while I'm driving on the highway. 70 on the dash display is really 75, 80 is about 86. I have to set my cruise around 75 to mostly keep up with traffic, which is really 80/81 mph.

What size tires are you running?

So I've had my GX550 Overtrail + for a little over 1 month - have driven 656 miles. My trips mind you have scored excellent from a breaking/acceleration standpoint on the Lexus App. What is totally f'ed up - is that it took me 3 TANKS of gas to drive 656 miles - which in CA equates to roughly $320 or $0.50 per mile in fuel alone. Now, I'm truly not worried about the money - but at this point am starting to question of Lexus has completely lied to future buyers or thinking I have a river of a gas leak coming out of this thing.

And before anyone brings it up - CA makes more per gallon in taxes than oil companies do in profit per gallon...

7300 miles, and here are my mpg stats in my OT with stock tires

Clicked over 1K miles this week and filled up again today with hand calculated 16.5, OT+. Wife drives it mostly around town and has a heavy foot.

It's pretty much close to what my Tacoma gets, which has significantly less torque, isn't full time 4WD, weighs a bit less less and on smaller tires. I'm not mad about the MPG at all.

Just took my OT to Lubbock and back for a 600+ mile trip. Drove 5 over the speed limit most of the time on Eco. Speed limit was 75 most of the way. Ended up with 18.7mpg.

Went to the nearby major metropolitan area yesterday. According to the trip computer, I got 20.1 there and back for the trip. Overall is 16.3 and rising. But, this is also my first tank of gas. All in all, I'm happy if I'll be getting 20+ on the highway.

Are you guys refreshing or restarting your truck's mileage computer while you are up & cruising on the highway, or are you restarting it (zeroing it out) immediately after filling up at the gas station pump?

I’m not resetting anything. I peek at the trip summary every now and then after each drive.
