2024 GX550 Factory Wheels & Tire Specs

I’m thinking of going with the 285/50r22 open countries. That said all of the tires in this wheel size and category are E rated. What does that mean in terms of real world performance? Should I be looking at other tires since these might be too “heavy duty”? Looking for driving around highways and town. Want better rain and snow performance as well. Won’t be going off road much. And I want tire to look good/aggressive.

Hello, I believe the OT/OT+ 18"x7.5 wheel offset is +60??
Edit: it is +50, for Land Cruiser its +60

Just wanted to toss this on here because to this day I keep seeing controversy as to what the stock OT tires specs are.

C&D did a good suspension deep dive and included a shot of the back of the rims with the stamp.

Can confirm we are 18x7.5 with 50mm positive offset.

Figured some might want to see it for themselves with so few trucks out in the real world still.

I’m curious of the same. I am going to put 285/50/22 around Christmas but I am worried about going to an E. I wouldn’t mind some more rubber between me and the road but not at the cost of things getting sluggish.

Got a rock puncture on the first time I took my Overtrail+ out on the Oregon forest roads... roads that I've been on many times with my Rubicon with Nitto Trail Grapplers with no issues. So, I'm worried that these tires just won't hold up to basic off-roading; considering BF Goodrich or Nitto replacements if I can find the proper size...
