New member from Houston here…

Long time Toyota owner, with my last being a 5th gen TRD Pro 4Runner. After a 3mo wait, I finally took delivery of my atomic silver OT last week. Quite the adjustment, coming from a ‘23 Raptor, but loving it so far.

Running boards came off this week. Westcott collar lift this weekend (on jackstands - wish me luck), and 17” methods / 34s going on Monday. Pictures will be shared.

Happy to be here. Looking forward to sharing (and learning) w/ the group!

Hello from East Tennessee! I am taking delivery of a Lux+ GX550 within the next month. Currently building a restomod 67 Mustang convertible, have built a Factory Five Cobra replica, and did a restomod 72 Ford Bronco. Have owned Lexus IS and RX 350s for 15+ years. Looking forward to the GX adventures!

Hey there from Southern California! We purchased our GX550 Overtrail+ back in August 2024. We are overlanders and have been exploring with our 2016 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Rubicon while towing a Patriot Campers X1-H and purchased the GX to add a little comfort to our travels... and the capability to tow something a bit bigger.

We have an overlanding YouTube channel where you can follow our build and family overlanding adventures... called "Six Overland" of course.

I bought a GX550 Overtrail + a few weeks ago here in Naples, FL. This is my first Lexus too. The whole purchasing experience was unlike anything I ever experienced in the past. The customer service simply outstanding.
I plan on having the GX for over 10 years so, I ended up getting the extended warranty for it.
I'm glad I found this site! I'll be looking at the different topics.

Hi all! I'm a new member from Southern California. Always been loyal to Lexus and recently handed down my 2018 RX to my nephew - boy does time fly... Happy to share that I've upgraded to the GX 550 Overtrail+ in Nori Green. Loving it so far and planning to keep it forever. We also have a 2-door Jeep Wrangler that is currently being worked on after a long hiatus. My partner and I plan to go overlanding all over the US while checking off more National Parks from our list! Cheers

Thanks for adding me to this group. I am from Alberta, Canada, and have a Caviar OT. I'm looking forward to reading the posts on this forum. Here are some pictures of my OT after installing winter wheels (20" Vossens with Michelin X-Ice tires). It was challenging to get 18" tires, so I ended up with this setup. The Vossen distributor forgot to send the centre caps, so they will get installed later this week.

I currently drive a BMW IX but thinking about buying a GX550. We have only owned German cars or GM Tahoe/Yukons. Trying to wrap my head around what Lexus is all about compared to what I am used to.

Long time reader, finally joined. Have been on the waitlist for a nori Premium + in Houston since July (!). Finally gave up with the local dealer and got one allocated through a Virginia dealer set to arrive next month. Can’t wait!
